Addleshaw Goddard has taken home the coveted title of 'Legal Team of the Year' for the third consecutive year at North West Rainmaker Awards 2017, hosted by thebusinessdesk.com.
Reinforcing the firm's position as the region's top legal advisers on corporate transactions, the team's win was voted on by over 100 senior members of the NW corporate finance and M&A community. AG's deals team were also acknowledged for their involvement in the IPO of Accrol, which won 'Public Markets Deal of the Year'.
AG is recognised for consistently being at the heart of the region's top transactions, having advised on over 50 deals during the judging period (including the £680m acquisition of Innovia), and has continued to be busy since then on deals such as;
- advising investment banks Zeus Capital and Jefferies International on their £130m accelerated bookbuild fundraising for online fashion retailer boohoo.com
- advising NorthEdge Capital on its investment in environmental and industrial services specialist Future Industrial Services
