Addleshaw Goddard's Corporate Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) team has scooped the 'PSL/Knowledge' award at LexisNexis Legal Awards 2018, following the Firm's double nomination in the category.

Celebrating excellence in innovation across the legal sector, the awards select winners from a high calibre of entrants. Judges commended the PSL team's implementation of innovative tech solutions to greatly increase efficiency and client engagement within the market-leading Corporate team.

Headed up by Nicky Higginbottom, and including Neville Moore and Sukhraj Dhillon, the PSL team has celebrated an exceptional year, with highlights including:

• Playing an instrumental role in implementing an innovative M&A toolkit called AGMAx for use by internal teams and for clients, to house guidance, share information, improve project management and drive strategic purpose through a transaction. AGMAx was shortlisted in the 'Knowledge Management Category' at the Legal Week's Business Leadership Awards 2017, and ranked as 'Commended' in the 'New Business and Service Delivery' category at the FT Innovative Lawyer Awards 2017.
• Working closely with the Firm's TST tech team to revamp the deal reporting and know-how capturing processes using HighQ, a collaborative online platform. The Corporate team subsequently saw its rankings improve in deal tables: AG was ranked by Experian in the top three of UK legal advisers by deal volume for two successive months.

The win follows AG's double shortlisting in the 'PSL/Knowledge' award category: Amanda Steadman, Professional Support Lawyer in the Firm's Employment, Incentives and Immigration team, was also nominated for her outstanding work supporting the team in one of the fastest-developing legal practice areas.
