CDC clients come in all shapes and sizes
We have worked with clients across a variety of sectors. There isn’t a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to the service they receive, but whatever their scale, industry or geographic reach, we’ve found they often share similar challenges and opportunities.
Here’s just a snapshot of some of the CDC’s work:
Global bank
We created a multiple-module 'talent academy' for all group legal members, in order to develop the commercial and leadership skills across the in-house function.
Global financial services business
We worked with in-house personnel to improve their position as ‘trusted advisers’ to their internal clients and improve their effectiveness at influencing at a senior level.
Major automotive business
We helped the in-house legal team to identify ways to co-operate and improve working practices across disparate parts of the department.
One-to-one coaching
We have coached a number of key contacts in industries as diverse as chemicals, aviation, mining and automotive. Coaching ranges from addressing under-performance to positioning for a more senior role or making an impact in a new organisation.
Major bank
We facilitated an off-site session for the corporate bankers with a focus on ensuring strategic alignment and enhancing commerciality.
International bank
We structured a training and development programme to help more than 300 members of the in-house function to enhance their understanding of core banking concepts, such as capital adequacy rules and Basle standards.
Global food, ingredients and retail group
We worked with the legal function to consider the impact of value, talent, performance and structure - the four main themes identified in the Addleshaw Goddard Value Dynamics study.
Professional services business
We ran a business simulation with a focus on improving the commerciality and team working ability of frontline staff.
Financial institution
We developed a range of programmes covering leader assessment and behavioural styles, influencing and persuasion, cross-cultural working, self-awareness and leading teams.
