However, it’s always humbling to receive industry awards, as these take into account not only the recognition of our industry peers, but the positive feedback of our clients.

Since its inception in 2005, the Client Development Centre (CDC) has received numerous accolades for innovation, client service, and providing that all-important added value in an extremely competitive market.

Here’s a look at some of our more recent achievements:

The Lawyer Business Leadership Awards 2016

The Business Leadership Awards, now in their second year, are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence among business services professionals and teams working in law firms.

We won the Best Service Quality Innovation award for taking our UK Future Leaders programme further to create a groundbreaking local programme ran in Nigeria, Tanzania, and Dubai. Designed to help prepare the GCs of tomorrow, the programme provides GCs from key multinationals with the tools they need to lead a legal team in the world's fastest growing economy. The unique programme directly responds to local market challenges and provides a truly innovative way to teach and engage. Delegates develop wider leadership capabilities, and are equipped with new tools, frameworks and ideas to improve their skills as in-house lawyers.

FT Innovative Lawyers 2015

These awards, organised by the Financial Times (FT), recognise market leaders and drivers of change in the legal industry by measuring and rewarding uniqueness and value delivered to business.

The CDC was ranked as "standout" in the innovation in client service category for developing the Transitioning to Life I

n-House programme with a major global bank. The programme supports new hires into the legal team to enable them to deliver an immediate and positive impact to the function and wider organisation.

The Lawyer Business Leadership Awards 2015

The awards celebrate excellence in legal market operational and strategic management.
The CDC was short-listed for the Most Innovative Collaboration with an In-House Legal Team award, which recognises client-centric initiatives and innovation in partnering with clients.

The British Legal Awards 2015

The British Legal Awards, led by Legal Week, are one of the leading awards programmes for the UK's business law community, acting as a showcase for the achievements in the legal sector.

The CDC was short-listed for the In-House Innovation award, which celebrates initiatives that are considered to genuinely break new ground in the delivery of legal services.

Managing Partners' Forum (MPF) Awards

The MPF Awards are held in association with the Harvard Business Review, the FT and Google Enterprise and recognise management excellence in professional services firms across Europe.

Our Future Leaders programme (page link) won in the Most Innovative Client Service category. Value Dynamics (page link) was short-listed in the Best Thought Leadership Campaign category. 

FT Innovative Lawyers 2013

AG and the CDC were short-listed in the innovation in client service category for our Future Leaders programme.

This demonstrated independent recognition of the ongoing development of our CDC to build and reinforce our reputation with existing and potential clients for delivering unique interventions that differentiate us in clients’ eyes from other firms. The nomination continued a trend of recognition following nominations in 2008 and 2010
