Throughout 2023 we hosted a series of successful events across the UK on PFI handback, aptly entitled 'HandBack to the Future'. Key stakeholders from all aspects of the asset management spectrum gathered to discuss, unpack and support one another throughout the impending handback projects.

As Marty McFly once again hops on his hoverboard (we couldn't miss the opportunity for a 'Back to the Future' pun!), we are delighted to bring this roadshow to Dublin for HandBack to the Future, The Prequel to offer insights to help assist you in future proofing PPP projects in Ireland as the market evolves. The event will feature interactive sessions, where we will be joined by key industry professionals in the market to share their perspectives. The sessions will focus on:

• Future proofing PPP projects: using our insight into the UK market, we will discuss the practical realities of managing and navigating the expiry of a project and what you can do at the outset to prepare for this;
• Net Zero: achieving Net Zero and the challenges of decarbonisation;
• Residual Construction Defects; we will look at issues around residual construction defects and their impact on operational PPP facilities; and
• Investment: the PPP pipeline in Ireland and maximising successful procurement of new PPP projects.
