The Interim period contained in the Companies Miscellaneous Provisions (Covid-19) Act, 2020 has been extended to 9th June 2021 following government approval.
What does this mean
- Companies may continue to hold meetings virtually
- Documents that are required to be executed under Seal maybe executed in Counterpart
- Threshold at which a Company deemed unable to pay its debts will remain at the increased threshold of €50,000.00
- The Examinership process maybe extended to 150 days (subject to Court approval)
