AG has launched the Women in Energy and Natural Resources initiative on Wednesday 16 November 2016, a forum for senior representatives across all disciplines in the natural resources sector to exchange knowledge and ideas, and to debate solutions and challenges to  current issues facing the industry.

Corporate partners Anna Nerush and Elvan Hussein and international arbitration partner Sarah Vasani hosted a dinner for 20 GCs, CEOs and senior managers from the oil and gas, mining, commodities and clean energy sectors, ranging from listed entities to start-ups and asset managers, and including both existing and target AG clients.

The guests were joined by Maria Taylor, Chair of Queen Mary's University Energy Forum, Chair of the Energy Credit Association in Europe and former Head of Credit at EDF Trading. Maria led a lively discussion on Risk Management in the Face of Increasing Uncertainty in the Natural Resources Sector.

The event, which proved to be an excellent networking and client development opportunity for the firm, was hugely successful and well received and supported by the industry. We are delighted to have hosted such a formidable group of guests, and look forward to future events next year.
