Addleshaw Goddard is further strengthening its Finance Litigation practice with the hire of prominent banking litigation lawyer, Harold Brako.


Harold, who is National head of the receivables finance & litigation practice and the former Manchester office Head at Shoosmiths, will bolster AGs already strong Northern Finance Litigation team and add further bench strength to the firms top ranking national finance litigation practice.

Outlined as a leading individual in Chambers, Harold brings with him extensive experience in all aspects of banking and finance litigation, receivables finance, and banking disputes, including contractual and commercial disputes, recoveries involving fraud, securities enforcement and reviews, injunctive processes and insolvency proceedings.

Seen as the "go to" lawyer for the ABL industry, Harold advises a broad range of clients in the finance sector, including members of the Asset Based Finance Association and the Finance and Leasing Association, as well as the major UK clearing banks.

Harold who was formerly the head of office for Shoosmiths in Manchester, joins the firm's Manchester Litigation team, which is the largest top-tier litigation practice in the region, with four partners and over 30 fee-earners.
