Lauren joins from the dispute resolution team of Slaughter and May where she spent 11 years building up extensive experience advising clients across a variety of sectors, including corporates, financial institutions and private clients, on a wide range of contentious matters.
Lauren has an excellent track record representing clients in both litigation and arbitration, as well as ADR, with the claims often being complex, high value and/or involving an international dimension. She also has a particular specialism in the oil and gas sector having represented energy clients in multi million and billion dollar disputes arising from their operations across EMEA.
Lauren's appointment underscores AG's ongoing investment and commitment to bolster its Commercial Disputes offering across the firm, as shown most recently by the promotion of Paul Hughes to partner in the Litigation team in Dubai and its hiring of Michelle de Kluyver as partner into the Corporate Crime team in London.
Mark Molyneux, national head of AG's Commercial Litigation team, comments: "Lauren brings a wealth of experience of high value, complex disputes for a number of impressive clients and I have no doubt she will prove herself to be an invaluable member of the team, which is already one of the go-to practices for some of the biggest and most high profile cases in the English courts. Her arbitration experience will also make her a first-class addition to AG's International Arbitration Group."
