Addleshaw Goddard's Real Estate sector team has advised Mount Anvil on a significant joint venture with Catalyst, one of London’s leading housing associations, for the regeneration of Friary Park in Acton, West London.

The development proposals will deliver fifty per cent affordable housing by habitable rooms, with current plans of around 930 mixed-tenure homes. This includes the re-provision of all 225 homes for social rent alongside new shared ownership homes. Catalyst will continue to own Friary Park and manage the homes for rent and shared ownership. Mount Anvil will act as developer and development manager across the multiphase development.

The AG team was led by Simon Tager, supported by corporate partner Simon Wood, construction partner Andy McVeigh, Legal Director Sam Cary and Managing Associate Matthew Lucas

Simon Tager, commented: “I am delighted to have led the AG team advising our long-standing client Mount Anvil in connection with this major re-generation project which will deliver an exciting rejuvenated neighbourhood for Friary Park and is another example of Mount Anvil's commitment to developing high quality and better homes for London communities."
