Addleshaw Goddard's Corporate team has advised industrial automation business Yokogawa Electric Corporation on its acquisition of RAP International.
RAP provides digital solutions that support risk assessment management of the permit to work process and governance of control of work for all plant maintenance activities. Yokogawa is now expected to expand the availability of RAP's services through its global sales network and integrate these services into its existing portfolio to create a digital transformation platform that enables real-time monitoring of both plant assets and maintenance procedures.
Duncan Wilson, Corporate Partner at Addleshaw Goddard, comments: "This is an exciting and strategic acquisition for Yokogawa, which will see it further enhance its digital offering to its customers. It has been a pleasure to advise Yokogawa and we look forward to working together again in the future."
The Addleshaw Goddard team was led by Duncan Wilson with associate James Finney.
