The 2021 edition of Who's Who Legal: Arbitration recognises three Addleshaw Goddard lawyers as leading practitioners in the field.
The listing is based on extensive research conducted by Global Arbitration Review in 95 countries to identify counsel who excel in international arbitration.
Jon Tweedale (Co-Head of International Arbitration) and Sarah Vasani (Head of Investor State Dispute Resolution) are both featured in WWL: Arbitration 2021. Nathalie Allen (Legal Director) is recognised as a rising star in WWL: Arbitration – Future Leaders 2021.
Earlier this year the AG International Arbitration team was shortlisted for 'International Arbitration Team of the Year' in the Legal Business Awards 2020 in recognition of the team's work securing the successful settlement of a major investment treaty dispute under the ASEAN Treaty.
Jon has over 22 years' experience advising on international commercial disputes. As well as maintaining his counsel practice he sits as an arbitrator and has been appointed as an expert witness on English law. His sector focus includes energy (oil, gas and renewables), life sciences and manufacturing and engineering. WWL says “Jon is a leader. Sarah specialises in both international commercial disputes and investor state disputes. She has vast experience in energy, oil and gas, mining, and other large-scale project disputes in Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, India and Latin America. Sarah is qualified in England & Wales, the District of Columbia and Texas. As well as acting as counsel she also regularly sits as an arbitrator. Nathalie's practice focuses on the resolution of international disputes in commercial and investor-state arbitrations and associated proceedings.
