Addleshaw Goddard advises international renewables developer on sale of UK solar project
Addleshaw Goddard has advised renewables developer European Energy on the sale of a grid-connected solar project in the UK.
Copenhagen-headquartered European Energy develops, builds and operates renewable energy projects including solar, onshore and offshore wind, and P-to-X across Europe, the US, Australia and South America. The Bubney solar farm in Shropshire, which is capable of producing around 40 GWh per year, has been purchased by independent power producer the Elm Trading Group (advised by Alpha Renewables).
The AG team advising on the deal was led by Rory Connor, and included William Morrison, Philip Tonkin, Jaya Gupta, Jack Edwards, Michael Hunter, Catherine Concannon, Frances Proctor, Aylin Oztas, Eliana Roccatani and Mae Mae Box.
