Addleshaw Goddard advises accountants Cooper Parry on double acquisition
International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised accountancy group Cooper Parry on the acquisition of UHY Hacker Young Manchester.
The deal, together with the acquisition of Haines Watts Thames Valley which completed on the same day and on which Addleshaw Goddard also assisted, sees Cooper Parry add more than 200 people, taking its specialist team to over 1400 and group turnover to £180m for the current financial year.
This is the latest in a series of deals on which Addleshaw Goddard has advised Cooper Parry - the UK’s fastest growing accountancy firm – since the firm acted on its strategic partnership with private equity firm Waterland in 2022.
