Law firm Addleshaw Goddard took home three awards at the Law.com International Legal Innovation Awards in London on Thursday 23 May 2024.

Michael Kennedy, Senior Manager in AG's Innovation & Legal Technology team, was awarded the prestigious 'Innovation Trailblazer Award', and the firm's Business Services division was recognised for 'Innovation in Diversity' and 'Outstanding Marketing, PR and Comms Innovation.

Innovation Trailblazer Award

Michael Kennedy, who was one of the first trainee solicitors in the UK to undertake a legal technology focused training contract, was recognised for his outstanding work helping to develop AG's approach to generative AI, eventually leading to the development of the firm's own in-house software programme, AGPT.

Innovation in Diversity

Led by Inclusion Manager Richard Fisk, the firm's DE&I team were recognised for their work developing a comprehensive neurodiversity programme to help create greater awareness and understanding of neurodivergence.

Outstanding Marketing, PR & Comms Innovation

AG's Marketing, PR and Comms team was recognised for its 'Sink, Don't Swim' marketing campaign, which sought to advertise the firm's extensive services in contract management.
