Addleshaw Goddard Bolsters Life Sciences Practice with Director Appointment

Addleshaw Goddard is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary Howes as Director of Life Sciences, marking a significant expansion of the firm's capabilities in this critical sector.

Gary joins Addleshaw Goddard from McDermott Will & Emery, where he has established himself as a leading specialist in Life Sciences, with particular expertise in life sciences transactions, with a focus on patent licences and collaborations, complex contracts, and product portfolio deals, as well as IP and regulatory advisory work, catering to a diverse range of clients from both private and public sectors.

Recognised for his profound industry knowledge, Gary has been named in the European Counsel Life Science's Industry Report 'Super League for Intellectual Property' and has been 'highly recommended' by Global Counsel for his patent expertise, commercial IP, and protection issues. He is consistently recommended in the Legal 500 and Chambers UK, where he is praised for his exceptional ability in commercial agreements and his skill in making complex legal issues accessible to non-specialists.
