Addleshaw Goddard advised investment holding company Kai Yuan Holdings Limited in relation to the refinancing of the Paris Marriott Champs-Élysées hotel
Paris – 6 January 2025 – Addleshaw Goddard's Paris office advised Kai Yuan Holdings Limited, an investment holding company, on the €175 million refinancing of the Paris Marriott Champs-Élysées hotel.
Kai Yuan Holdings Limited is a holding and investment company mainly engaged in the production of heating equipment in China. It is also a leading property group listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Addleshaw Goddard advised Kai Yuan Holdings Limited, owner of the Paris Marriott Champs-Élysées hotel, on the €175 million refinancing of the hotel with a banking pool led by Société Générale. In 2014, Addleshaw Goddard's real estate team advised Kai Yuan Holdings on the acquisition and financing of the Marriott Champs-Élysées hotel in Paris, which was sold by ADIA for €344 million.
The Paris Marriott Champs-Élysées hotel, the only five-star hotel on the Champs-Élysées Avenue, has 192 rooms and suites, conference rooms, several restaurants, and a fitness centre.
The hotel has recently undergone a complete renovation of its rooms and suites, combining Art Nouveau and Art Deco with a modern design, while respecting the history of this prestigious address, home to the luxurious Maison Louis Vuitton from 1914 to 1954.
