Addleshaw Goddard advises Hydraflex on European expansion through acquisition

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised manufacturing company Hydraflex on the acquisition of specialist hose and valve manufacturer Hydralectric International and its European subsidiaries. 

Hydraflex Group acquired 100% of the equity from London-based private equity firm Rockpool Investments and the management team, returning Hydralectric to its roots of family ownership. 

Hydralectric makers bespoke hoses and high performance valves for the water industry and this move will see Hydraflex expand its manufacturing and distribution capabilities into Europe through subsidiaries including EKI in Slovenia and Compralec in France. The group will now have a total staff to 160, spread over 10 sites. 

The Addleshaw Goddard team advising Hydraflex was led by Carly Gulliver and included Miriam Doukhan, Frances Scarisbrick and Bill Downer. Addleshaw Goddard's Paris office assisted on French elements of the transaction.
