EXPERTISE 

Hassam is an Associate in the real estate finance team having joined Addleshaw Goddard in September 2021. Hassam has experience working for both international banks and companies and has experience with a wide variety of different corporate structures, having previously worked as an associate in Jersey, with Carey Olsen. Previous experience includes:

• Advising a global asset manager, lending to a joint venture vehicle between a UK property management firm and a Middle East based investment bank on the purchase of three UK properties (involving a combination of both an asset sale and the purchase of SPV companies). 
• Acting for a global investment manager on the c.£600m purchase of a unit trust (which held London based rental properties), including obtaining and negotiating the financing in relation to that acquisition and assisting in structuring the buyer side structure. 
• Advising a sovereign wealth fund, as mezzanine lender, with a facility to a fund managed by a leading global alternative investment management company, for the purpose of partially refinancing a portfolio of logistics properties.
