EXPERTISE

James is a Managing Associate in the Commercial Disputes team, where he qualified in September 2017 having trained with the firm.

He has experience of acting on a broad range of disputes, including contractual disputes, claims arising out of competition infringements, and public inquiries.

James' recent experience includes:

representing two large construction and utilities companies, in relation to Grenfell Tower, in the criminal investigation, public inquiry and the handling of any civil claims
acting as co-counsel for the Road Haulage Association in its proposed collective action before the Competition Appeal Tribunal following the Trucks Cartel
defending 'follow on' damages claims brought against the NKT group of companies in the High Court.
