Before recently returning to AG in 2024, Marlon was a commercial and technology partner at one of the leading media and entertainment firms in London.

He has more than 20 years of experience specialising in complex and strategic commercial transactional work for clients focussing on transformation and their domestic and international growth and expansion strategies. Often these arrangements are on a multi-jurisdictional basis and part of his clients' integration and management of their multi-channel growth strategies. These are often some of the most business critical, strategically important commercial contracts his clients enter into and are often driven by senior management and C-suite executives.

His advertising, marketing and sports practice focuses on media buying, digital advertising/AdTech and creative agreements predominantly for brands but also for agencies. This includes extensive experience of drafting and negotiating large-scale, global media buying and advertising services agreements from RFP to completion, working with CMOs and other senior marketing stakeholders. He also help clients with sponsorship and endorsement deals (including recent sponsorship tie-ups with Team GB and Paralympics GB for the 2024 Olympics), as well as IP commercialisation agreements for sports sector clients.

His media and entertainment practice includes advising clients on content production, distribution, licensing and publishing deals. He acts for a variety of clients across the spectrum, including content producers, influencers, distributors as well as household name publishers, news groups and broadcasters.
