Jonny qualified into the Commercial team at Addleshaw Goddard in September 2015, having trained with the firm. Jonny regularly advises clients on strategic technology and outsourcing arrangements and other commercial agreements, in particular in the retail, financial services and energy sectors.

Some highlights from Jonny's recent experience includes acting for:

• a major utilities provider on the procurement of SaaS-based billing / CRM solutions for its businesses across UK and Ireland;
• Reclaim Fund Ltd, the HM Treasury-owned FCA-regulated sole operator of the UK Dormant Assets Scheme, including on the expansion of the scheme for the first time to insurance and pensions sector institutions;
• an independent public body on a major IT outsourcing covering 5 different strategic pillars of its core IT operations, including a customer-facing system, a data warehouse solution and resource augmentation;
• a multinational retailer on the set-up and ongoing development of its customer loyalty app;
• a major energy company in relation to the establishment of a joint venture for the operation of its EV charging hubs;
• a leading UK retailer on the outsourcing of IT support services for all its store-based systems;
• a major utilities company on the implementation of its AI offering (Microsoft Copilot); and
• a financial service institution on the outsourcing of its customer origination platform.
