Martin is a dual qualified (England & Wales and Scotland) property development and investment specialist and has a wide range of experience across UK commercial real estate work including the delivery and financing of projects in the office, residential (BTR and PBSA), industrial, life sciences, healthcare and hotel sectors. Martin has significant expertise in the acquisition, asset management and disposal of large property portfolios, mortgage books and distressed assets.
Martin's clients include UK institutions, private equity investors, retail funds as well as private property companies and developers.

Martins' experien ce includes:
- Acting for an institutional investors on the forward funding, purchase and sale of 2 BTR schemes providing over 650 beds and with a combined value of in excess of £150m
- Acting for private equity funds on the purchase, funding and asset management and sale of a number of UK portfolios of logistics investments
- Acting for a US private equity fund on the sale of a portfolio of 100 care homes across the UK
- Acting for a private developer on the site assembly, development and sale of a £200m mixed use regeneration project in Glasgow
- Advising a local authority in partnership with a listed development company on the development and delivery of a major regeneration project in Glasgow using a Tax Increment Financing model
- Advising a financial institution on the consolidation and transfer of 3 UK mortgage portfolios comprising in excess of 25,000 properties/mortgages.
