Craig is an Associate in our Finance and Projects Division and deals with all aspects of real estate finance, enforcement and distressed real estate. With over ten years commercial real estate experience, he regularly advises lenders in connection with real estate acquisitions, development funding and investment finance and acts for lenders and insolvency practitioners in the management and sale of distressed real estate.

Craig's recent experience includes:

• advising on real estate aspects for pre-pack administration sales of a number of high street retailers, including property management, transfers and the termination of the leases over the residual units not included in the sales.
• acting in the distressed sale of a development site in Edinburgh, involving complex title issues.
• acting lender-side and advising on Scottish real estate and security aspects in connection with an £80M refinance of existing facilities provided to a listed engineering services firm.
• acting lender-side in connection with the real estate aspects of a term loan facility to finance the acquisition of a central belt retail park.
