Anna advises institutional investors, property companies, local authorities, asset managers and developers on all types of property-based direct and indirect transactions, including sales and purchases of assets and property-owning corporates and trust, forward funding deals, development agreements and leases.
She has considerable experience in real estate joint ventures and structuring funding/profit share arrangements, advising on both corporate and real estate aspects.
Anna is co-head of AG's Transport Sector and has a particular expertise relating to regeneration and the investment and development of land around and including transport hubs including stations and airports.
Anna is a part of our Real Estate Housing team.
• Luton Borough Council on a significant portfolio transaction and development and investment purchase deals
• West Yorkshire Combined Authority on the management of its properties
• Network Rail on their property asset management work and station redevelopment projects, joint ventures and collaboration and partnering agreements including significant work on profit share and overage structures, and complex development agreements involving both residential and commercial property. Highlights include acting on Network Rail's Solum and Blocwork joint ventures and in relation to York Central, a major development partner procurement involving a 45-hectare city centre site
- A local authority in relation to the property aspects of a major CPO scheme for a new road project
- Various local authorities in relation to town centre regeneration projects transforming retail to mixed use and residential sites (such as Stockport 8 – For Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council – the appointment of a development partner entry into a joint venture in relation to a major mixed use development
- Developers such as Harworth and Caddick on complex development schemes and sales and purchases.
- Investors such as abrdn and Schroders on their full range of investment and development property work including sales, purchases, leasing work and forward funding transactions.
