Félix Hernández is a partner in the Banking & Finance team of Addleshaw Goddard in Spain. During his professional career of over 14 years, he has advised all types of entities (banks, debt funds, investment funds, project funds, real estate funds and private equity funds) on the structuring and implementation of sophisticated financing transactions, including, among others, acquisition finance, project finance, real estate finance, restructuring and corporate finance, in national and international transactions.

Experience

Highlighted deals include:

  • Project Giga: advising Banco Santander and the EIB in the financing of a 1GW portfolio of PV plants developed by Solaria.
  • Banco Santander on the financing granted to Goldman Sachs for the development of a logistic centre in Toledo, Spain.
  • Asterion Industrial Partners on the financing granted by a syndicate of lenders led by BBVA for the acquisition from AMP Capital of the Spanish telecommunications business Axión. 
  • Torreal and Mutua Madrileña on the financing granted to the Ingesport group (GoFit fitness centers) by ICG for €200 million.

Félix contributes on an ongoing basis to “Real Estate and Private Equity Review” and “Lexology – Fund Finance” published by Law Business Research.
