Leanne joined Addleshaw Goddard as an Associate in May 2022. 

She is a non-contentious real estate lawyer who specialises in a wide variety of commercial real estate matters. She has particular experience in dealing with investment and development work, acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management work and refinancings. She has recently spent time on secondment in our Dubai office. 

A selection of her recent transactions includes:

• acting for Royal London on their acquisition, forward funding and leaseback of a £100m portfolio of 8 care homes;
• being part of the team advising the Asda Group on the real estate elements associated with a £600m sale and leaseback transaction involving 25 properties and the £400m financing of a 55-asset portfolio of Asda stores in respect of commercial ground leases;
• advising Battersea Power Station Development Company on the real estate elements associated with multiple, multi-million-pound refinancings of its development at Battersea Power Station.; and
• being part of the British Land team, advising on two of their retail assets and managing one.
