Mike is the head of our award winning Private Equity group. Described by Legal 500 as "a very knowledgeable and experienced figure", he has over 25 years' experience advising investors, founders, management teams and corporate clients across the full range of private equity transactions  including buyouts, growth capital and venture capital investments, refinancings, restructurings and exits.

Investors advised by Mike throughout his career include 3i, Accel KKR, AS Private Equity, Bridges, CBPE, ECI , Foresight, Greencoat, Inflexion, LDC, Mobeus and Phoenix Equity Partners. He has also advised numerous successful companies and management teams in relation to private equity investment and exit deals including Citation Group, Farsound Aviation, Giggling Squid, The Gym, Hobbs, International Financial Group, Kerridge Commercial Systems, Las Iguanas, Lendscape, SK AeroSafety and Travelodge.

Mike is a regular speaker and commentator on private equity issues and is the co-author of A Practical Guide to Private Equity Transactions published by Cambridge University Press.
