Marija is a lawyer specialized in energy, regulatory and contract law as well as litigation and arbitration. She provides practice-oriented advice to companies along the entire value chain of the energy sector. 

She has experience in decarbonization, and the challenges associated with Germany's greenhouse gas quota obligations. Her expertise also includes matters relating to battery storage facilities, energy regulation, procurement and optimization of energy costs, as well as contract drafting and energy efficiency requirements. Her knowledge also stretches to environmental law and the relevant legal requirements, such as the UERV, as well as the associated international agreements.

Marija is also involved in dispute resolution and advises on the new challenges of the hydrogen economy. In addition, her expertise also covers energy trading, electromobility and the power plant strategy.

Before joining AG in 2024, Marija Krstanović gained extensive experience in various positions before and during her legal traineeship at an automotive OEM, a ministry, leading international law firms, in the start-up scene and at a Big4.
