Expertise
Pauline's expertise in employment law encompasses all aspects of individual and collective labour law. Pauline has extensive experience with a particular focus on managing litigation, especially in the area of dismissal protection cases and other complex labour disputes. She also has special experience in dealing with issues related to works constitution law, especially in dealing with the co-determination rights of the works council and the design and negotiation of works agreements. In addition, she has special expertise in advising start-ups, comprehensively guiding them from the first drafting of initial employment contract templates to the development of complex bonus systems.
Furthermore her time spent on secondment in the legal department of a bank has provided her with insights into the operations of companies and the employment law challenges faced by HR departments.
Pauline Kuhn has been a Specialist Lawyer for Employment Law (Fachanwältin für Arbeitsrecht) since 2022.
- Experience
- Management of complex labor court proceedings at all levels
- Leading of comprehensive restructuring projects, including the planning and implementation of workforce reductions across various operations
- Design and negotiation of works agreements, particularly focusing on reconciliation of interests and social plans, working time and mobile work
- Providing employment law guidance to start-ups from its inception through to its sale
- Conducting internal investigations in response to allegations of inappropriate behaviour
