She has experience in advising on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and other corporate matters across a range of different sectors, including digital, financial services, retail and consumer and manufacturing.

Caera's experience includes:
- Advised Inflexion on their investment into the Cutwel Group, a specialist cutting tool distributor.
- Advised LDC on their investment into the Boston Energy Group, a provider of technical services and technical training to the wind industry.
- Advised the shareholders of the Dewhirst Group on a debt funded MBO.
- Advised the shareholders of The 55 Group on the sale to LDC and their subsequent re-investment into the group.
- Advised Torbay and South Devon Trust (an NHS trust) on pre-sale hive down and subsequent sale to NorthEdge Capital.
- Advised Dewhirst Group on a 26 step re-organisation impacting a number of companies throughout their group.
- Manage the relationship with and regularly provide advice to a number of private equity backed portfolio companies including Lights4Fun (backed by NorthEdge), 101 Ways (backed by CBPE), Boston Energy (backed by LDC) and Cutwel Group (backed by Inflexion), including in respect of further funding, share issues, buybacks etc.
- Advised the certain of the shareholders of Synergy Hire on their sale to Hitachi pursuant to a put and call agreement.
- Currently advising on a large disposal project for a client who is looking to sell 23 distinct business units to a purchaser by way of business and asset sale.
