Alasdair has broad experience in employment law matters and regularly advises on a range of HR and ER issues, including the management of disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance and redundancy processes.

Alasdair's experience includes:

  • Regular conduct of employment tribunal litigation across the UK;
  • Advising on industrial relations issues, including recognition requests and industrial action;
  • Advising on large-scale change projects involving redundancy consultation, mass settlement agreement projects and wider business reorganisations;
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement agreements;
  • Advising on non-contentious employment law issues, including in Corporate transactions and the application of TUPE; and
  • Advising employers on senior executive-level reorganisations and exits.
