Killian has significant experience advising clients in respect of large-scale new developments as well as advising on dispute avoidance and disputes in respect of construction matters. Killian's practice includes advising on the structuring and procurement of new developments, development financing, forward funding as well as forward purchase and pre-let agreements in respect of new developments.
Killian advises on all aspects of the contractual documentation required to deliver a new development including the construction contracts, funding agreements, development agreements, professional team appointments and performance security agreements.
Killian also has experience advising clients on contentious matters including advising on dispute avoidance, adjudication, conciliation and other alternative dispute resolution methods.
Killian's experience includes:
- Advising an Irish developer on the development and financing of a large office complex in Dublin.
- Advising an international developer on the delivery of over 1000 residential units in Dublin.
- Advising a US developer on the structuring, procurement and financing of a large mixed-use development with a significant residential and commercial footprint in Dublin city centre.
- Advising an approved housing body on their successful defence of an adjudication in respect of a multi-million euro claim brought against them by a contractor.
- Advising an Irish bank in relation to the development financing of a large-scale residential scheme.
