Zaema is an Associate within our Corporate division based in our Glasgow office. She has experience advising private investors, SMEs and large multi-national corporates across a variety of sectors , with particular experience in technology, property and life sciences. She advises on a broad range of matters, including private equity investments (including venture capital funding), mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures and general corporate governance.

Zaema's recent experience includes:

• advising Motive Offshore Group on the strategic acquisition of Aquatic Engineering & Construction following the significant investment by H2 Equity Partners in Motive (which has facilities in the UK, Houston, Taiwan and the UAE)
• advising a tyre manufacturer on a cross-border joint venture
• advising a cybersecurity company on a series A funding round
• advising a syndicated investor group specialising in early-stage growth technology companies on a venture capital investment
• advising Genedrive plc on a £6m accelerated bookbuild placing, to enable them to develop their MT-RNR1 1D test kit and CYP2C19 ID Kit to accelerate commercialisation in the UK, E/urope and Middle East and to fund regulatory approvals in the USA
• advising a software company on its acquisition of a technical assessment and code challenge platform
• advising various care home groups on an ongoing basis in connection with acquisitions, disposals and corporate reorganisations
• advising Europa on the £143m disposal of a build-to-rent SPV relating to The Lar k in Battersea, London
• advising the shareholders of Scottish immunology CRO, Antibody Analytics in relation to the growth capital investment in the company by North Edge Capital
• advising Lloyds Pharmacy Group on the divestment of their Scottish portfolio
• acting in the sale of Candidate ID to US acquirer, iCIMS
• advising GENinCode plc on its acquisition of Abcodia and its Risk of Ovarian Cancer Algorithm (ROCA) test and technology
