Joseph is a partner in our Corporate and Commercial Group in Ireland having joined the firm in January 2025. With expertise in the Renewables, Energy, Infrastructure, and Telecom sectors, Joseph has been instrumental in many high-profile, market-leading transactions and has advised several of the industry’s top players. 

Joseph also has an established general corporate advisory practice, with significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, and commercial contracts. 

Prior to joining the firm, Joseph spent 14 years working in the Corporate department of a leading Irish law firm. Joseph also spent a 10-month period (on secondment) as General Counsel and Head of Legal for Vodafone Ireland from July 2023 to April 2024.

Recent experience includes advising: 

• EMPower Renewables in relation to the sale of its Irish renewable portfolio of development stage wind and solar projects.
• Brookfield Renewables in relation to a series of sale transactions, including its sale of a 100 % equity interest in its existing Irish onshore wind business, Brookfield Renewable Ireland to Ørsted, the Danish multinational power company.
• Bord na Mona on its 50/50 joint venture with SSE Renewables. With a targeted delivery of up to 800MW of new renewable onshore wind energy for Ireland, the new partnership marks one of the largest onshore renewable energy joint ventures in the history of the state. 
• Greencoat Capital on a number of key projects in connection with its wind portfolio in the Republic of Ireland.
• Enterprise Holdings Inc, the world’s largest car rental company, on its acquisition of Dooley Car Rentals and Walker Vehicle Rentals.
