EXPERTISE 

Mabel is an Associate in our Finance Litigation team and is based in London. 

Mabel joined the team in 2020, having trained at Addleshaw Goddard for two years with a particular focus during her training on finance.  Mabel has also spent time within Addleshaw Goddard's Innovation and Legal Technology team meaning that she is cognisant of the legal technology which can be utilised for contentious matters.

Mabel has completed a secondment with a major high street bank.

Mabel’s experience includes: 

• Acting for Unitel S.A, an Angolan mobile telecommunications company, in relation to its £350m Commercial Court claim against Unitel International Holdings, B.V;
• Acting for the founder of a cryptocurrency exchange in relation to their high profile shareholder dispute (including obtaining interim injunctions and expediting the matter to trial in five months); and
• Acting for a major high street bank in relation to allegations of breaches under the Equality Act 2010, and on matters relating to customer exits, including issues arising under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
