Expertise
Harriet is a commercial lawyer working on a wide variety of commercial matters, having joined the Manchester Commercial team upon qualification in March 2016 following completion of her training in house with Co-operative Group Limited. Harriet has completed two client secondment:
- the first focussing on advertising clearances and associated commercial contracts; and
- the second focussing on commercial contracts.
Harriet's experience includes:
- advising, drafting and negotiating:
- SaaS agreements;
- application management service agreements;
- IT outsourcing contracts;
- communication services agreements; pension administration support agreements;
- advising, drafting and negotiating:
- an agreement for the procurement of a new Global Network and telecoms connectivity which connected all their sites and personnel in Asia, Australasia, Africa and Europe with their central data centre in Europe;
- an agreement relating to the selection and implementation of an integrated IT solution;
- a services agreement for the provision of service in respect of one of the largest science and technology property partnerships;
- providing assistance and support to a Structural Reform Programme by working closely and collaboratively with client stakeholders at various levels to develop and draft descriptions of the services, to be provided between a service provider and service recipient, which shall form part of an Intra-Group Services Agreement;
- reviewing and advising clients on a range of advertising and marketing matters including:
- copy clearance for advertising (including clearance for use on non-broadcast and broadcast media);
- sponsorship agreements;
- influencer agreements;
- determining compliance with the CAP Code, EU Spirit regulations and client specific policies;
- advising on media buying agreements and collaboration agreements;
- a broad range of commercial issues and commercial contracts and working with business subject matter experts to draft technical and commercial schedules.
