Expertise

Marine is an Associate in Addleshaw Goddard's Corporate Department based in the London office. Her practice focuses on investment funds and related financial services regulatory advice in the private funds sector. She advises a variety of private fund GPs / managers on a wide range of regulatory, structuring, major investment strategies, marketing and governance matters. 

Marine has expertise on investor representation, particularly in the private equity, venture capital and infrastructure, including green and sustainable strategies. She has particular expertise in ESG (notably on the implementation of SFDR, SDR and other regulatory international standards applicable to market participants).

Relevant experience includes advising:

  • a private equity house on the change of control notifications in relation to the acquisition of an FCA-regulated company;
  • a London-based investment fund sponsor with the set-up of investment vehicle investing in renewable energy infrastructure assets, in particular with respect to the drafting of the ESG strategy and compliance with applicable regulations (including SFDR and SDR requirements); 
  • an international governmental organization on the alignment of its fund's documentation with applicable requirements relating to sustainable disclosures; and
  • a major investment fund sponsor as part of prospective investments to be made by investment vehicles under its management, on the review of the invested funds’ documentation and its assessment in light of the relevant investor’s regulatory requirements.
