EXPERTISE
Lukas is an associate in the Disputes Group of Addleshaw Goddard’s German office. He advises and represents clients in complex national and international disputes before state courts and arbitral tribunals.
Lukas specialises in assisting clients in complex civil law disputes, in particular in the areas of commercial and corporate law, banking and capital markets law, civil construction law as well as antitrust law.
In close cooperation with colleagues specialising in white-collar criminal law, Lukas also assists clients in comprehensive internal compliance investigations and represents them in enforcing or defending claims arising from violations.
Lukas also specialises in public law. He advises and represents clients in administrative proceedings and disputes before national and European courts. He also advises clients on public law and regulatory issues in corporate transactions and restructurings.

- Advising a group of medium-sized companies on the antitrust risks of their cooperation
- Advising an institution of the European Union in appeal proceedings before the European Court of Justice
- Advising banks in the civil litigation concerning complex fraud cases in property lending
- Defending a global infrastructure group against a follow-on claim brought by a foreign company before a German state court for participation in a cartel legally established by the European Commission
- Advising shareholders of German real estate investment groups in corporate law disputes before German state courts arising from M&A transactions
- Advising a US trading company in the infrastructure sector in asserting claims for damages against an EU-based company due to the impairment of the trading relationship with a German manufacturer
- Advising and representing various foreign professional practice companies in admission proceedings before the competent regulatory authorities and, in one case, in the subsequent legal proceedings before a bar court
- Education
Lukas studied law at the University of Passau and the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. After finishing his studies with the First German State Exam in 2018 he served as a legal trainee at the Higher Regional Court of Munich. During his time as a student and as a legal trainee Lukas worked with several renowned international law firms. He completed his legal training with the Second German State Exam in November 2020.
