Michaela is an experienced corporate lawyer with a wide range of experience of general corporate and corporate finance work. Predominantly specialising in transactional work and legal advice in the energy sector, she focuses on mergers, acquisitions and disposals and private equity investments, including international transactions. Michaela is also involved in all aspects of corporate and commercial work, including group reorganisations and commercial contracts.  

• Acting for a specialist PE Fund on its various acquisitions in the UK, Norwegian, Malaysian and Australian investments. 
• Acting for certain oil service companies (backed by PE Funds) on numerous energy sector acquisitions (both in the UK and internationally) 
• Acting for an E&P company on the acquisition of certain assets in the UK
• Acting for various energy sector companies on large group reorganisations 
• Zennor Petroleum (backed by Kerogen Capital Hong Kong) on its acquisition of First Oil plc's UKCS oil & gas assets out of administration
