Expertise

Sinéad is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team specialising in both commercial litigation and media law.

Sinéad has experience advising clients in every jurisdiction from the District Court to the Supreme Court along with state established Tribunals of Inquiry. 

In the area of commercial litigation, Sinéad advises clients on a wide array of matters including shareholder disputes, insurance and contractual matters, landlord and tenant disputes, injunctions and the appointment of Liquidators and Receivers.

In media law, Sinéad has significant expertise in defamation, privacy, reporting restrictions and in providing pre-publication advice to publisher clients. 

Prior to training and qualifying as a solicitor, Sinéad worked as a Judicial Researcher, providing legal research support to members of the judiciary on a day-to-day basis. During this time, Sinéad in conjunction with members of the judiciary authored three judicial benchbooks.
